4th of July Eagle Cheeseball

Eagle Cheeseball

Independence Day- In 1776, 13 colonies signed the Declaration of Independence and declared themselves a new nation. 4th of July is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, picnics, bbq's, and now EAGLE CHEESEBALLS!  Enjoy!

Cheeseball Ingredients:
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1 (1 oz) package ranch dressing mix

2-1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

*1/2 cups chopped pecans

*1-1/2 oz (1/2 package) real bacon bits

Mozzarella Cheese  (Outside of cheeseball)

Whole Pecans  (Outside of cheeseball)

Black Olives  (Outside of cheeseball)

Yellow Pepper  (Outside of cheeseball)

Mash cream cheese, mix in other ingredients, wrap with Saran Wrap, and refrigerate. For the best flavor let it stay in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight. Be sure to use ranch dressing mix.
*Bacon bits and pecans are optional and you can use more or less if desired.

Mold Cheeseball into the shape of an Eagle

Layer Pecans starting at the bottom of the cheeseball.

Layer With Mozzarella cheese using the picture for reference.

Use black olives for eyes.

Cut the yellow pepper and insert into cheeseball for the noise.

Happy 4th of July!
